I want to talk to five of you

Hey Reader,

After the vulnerable letter I sent yesterday, six people unsubscribed.

And honestly, I felt good about that.

If I can’t be honest with the people reading these letters, then I don’t want to keep pretending.
Vulnerability should filter the room.

What mattered more was the support that came in after.
Some of you replied, some clicked, most of you stayed.

And that was enough to remind me why I’m doing this.

Here’s what I heard:

“We thought we’d have it all by now. Instead, we’re barely keeping up.”
“I don’t even know how I found you, but something told me to stay.”
“Maybe I’m too quiet about it. But I’m definitely here.”
“I’m tired of trying to figure things out alone.”
“This work you’re doing… it matters.”

I’ve decided to build the Rooted 21 Challenge.
It’ll be ready by August 20. I’ll share more soon.

But right now, I want to offer something simpler.

A real conversation.

I’m opening five spots for what I’m calling Clarity Calls. These are free.

It’s just 30 minutes. You show up, we talk.
You tell me what’s going on, and I’ll reflect back what I see.
That’s it.

Some guys walk away with a clearer sense of direction.
Others just feel lighter, like something that’s been heavy finally got named.
I can’t promise answers. But I’ll meet you where you are.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, or wrestling with direction, or unsure how to move forward, this might help.

Here’s the link to book:

If the times don’t work, reply to this email. We’ll figure it out.

Thank you for being part of this.
For reading this letters, replying, and staying.

Stay rooted,
Mihai

Wake Up. Live Fully.

P.S. I’m writing this from a quiet corner of our friend's house while Cléo and Aurélie nap. We've had a short and rough night. Still figuring out this balance between building something that matters and being the dad I want to be. Some days feel clear. Some don’t. But today, this felt right to send.

P.P.S. If Rooted 21 is what caught your eye last time, and you haven’t joined the waitlist yet, you can do that here: join the Rooted 21 waitlist

47th letter from Mihai Fri 5 Sep, 2025 Colmar, France A post that sparked a controversial conversation today on social media Hey Reader, I’m recording these thoughts on the way back from a visit with a friend. I helped him move and wire their washing machine. We had lunch, caught up, talked about family and home, and what it means to create something together. Two of his kids were off school, so we spent time together, jumping on the trampoline. It was a full day, and I enjoyed it. With no...

First time camping as a family

46th letter from Mihai Tue 2 Sep, 2025 Colmar, France Hey Reader, Today I want to share two stories about driving. How my reactions changed in just a matter of a few days, once I understood something. This might not be a big thing for you.I don’t know. But for me, it really changed how I show up. On Saturday we decided to go camping. Totally spontaneous. We packed everything in like half an hour, threw it all in the car.Aurélie was already in the back, next to Cléo in her baby seat. And since we...

The parenting book I'm reading at the moment, Punishment-Free Parenting

45th letter from Mihai Mon 1 Sep, 2025 Colmar, France A book that inspires me a lot these days Hey Reader, I’ve been thinking about what it means to be a rooted dad. What does that really mean to me? What’s the first step on this path? For me, being rooted means being present. Being part of your family’s life. Showing up for the consequences, good or bad. Taking responsibility. Staying curious. Being interested. And at the same time, not giving up on yourself. Living your life too. Not...
